Russian Vladimir Putin meeting with the new generation Robot  An infamous intelligent robot that escaped from his lab twice has shaken hands with Vladimir Putin. The Russian president was touring an IT exhibition in Perm, which is becoming known as the country’s Silicon Valley, when he met Promobot. The big-eyed, Russian-made machine is said to have immediately recognised Putin and enthusiastically introduced himself with a handshake. Promobot is used as a guide, model and promotional salesman across Russia and keeps a database of prominent public figures. NDDC KICKBACK SCANDAL & THE AGONY OF THE COMMISSION’S CONTRACTORS

By Kelvin Osas, African Vogue Niger Delta Development Commission ( NDDC ), was established in 2000 with the mission to facilitate the rapid, and sustainable development of the Niger Delta region. This was a palliative measure for the structural deficient Niger region (Oil-producing states) of Nigeria at the time. Presently in 2017, NDDC have not been able to fulfill 10% of the commission’s mandate compared to the huge resources the Federal government has pumped into the commission since inception. According to an independent source which undertook the appraisal of money NDDC has so far received compared to projects NDDC has successfully completed. According to the same source; “NDDC is now an establishment for the enrichment of the management and their cronies, open malefic activities of the executives of the NDDC.  The commission is also ridden with huge debts and uncompleted projects due to blatant corrupt practices by every successive administration of the commission...

Bayelsa State Sanitation Authority sold off unpaid contractor's equipments parked at Project site. It was pandemonium   on   08/02/2017   morning at Okaka Phase two housing estates   Yenagoa as men from Bayelsa State government Sanitation Authority accompanied with police men stormed the area to impound equipments belonging to a contractor. From the eye witness account, the representatives of the contractor were surprised to see that the equipments were not taken to the   office of the sanitation authority, instead the   heavy-duty   equipments   (Mack lowboy truck &   Heavy duty compacting Roller)   were being taken out of Yenagoa.
